History of Prophet Ibrahim (AS)
Eid-ul-Adha commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son, Prophet Ismail (AS), as an act of obedience to Allah's command. Just as he was about to perform the sacrifice, Allah replaced Ismail (AS) with a ram from Paradise. This act of submission is honored by Muslims worldwide through Qurbani.
