Activities for Day 2

The second day (11th Dhul-Hijjah) is also a day for Qurbani. People continue to sacrifice animals and visit relatives. It is one of the days of Tashreeq, so reciting the Takbir after Fard prayers is still obligatory.

Takbir-e-Tashreeq

الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله والله أكبر الله أكبر ولله الحمد

"Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no deity but Allah. Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise."

Checklist for Today

  • Recite Takbir after Fard prayers.
  • Visit family and friends.
  • Distribute meat to the needy.
  • Make Dua for the acceptance of sacrifice.
