2nd Shawwal
The second day of Eid is often spent visiting extended family and friends. For those wishing to gain extra reward, the 6 fasts of Shawwal (Sit-tat-Shawwal) can be started from today. Fasting these 6 days after Ramadan is equal to fasting for a whole year.
تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنكُم
"May Allah accept (good deeds) from us and from you."
