Introduction to Jumu'ah

Friday, known as Jumu'ah, holds a special status in Islam. It is considered the master of days. Allah Almighty says in the Quran: "O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah..." (Quran 62:9).
