Observance in Al Baqaa
The night of 15th Shaban brings a spiritual glow to Al Baqaa. Mosques across the city hold special sermons discussing the virtues of this night. The atmosphere is filled with the sound of Quranic recitation and supplications. It is a time when the people of Al Baqaa turn to Allah in repentance.
6 Rakats Nafal
It is a tradition to offer 6 Rakats Nafal after Maghrib in sets of 2.
1. For long life with faith.
2. For protection from calamities.
3. For financial independence (not relying on others).

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
"O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me."
