Virtues of Fasting
Fasting (Sawm) is a pillar of Islam that teaches self-discipline, empathy, and devotion. It is not just abstaining from food and drink but also from sinful speech and actions. The reward for fasting is immense, as Allah says, "Fasting is for Me, and I shall reward for it."
Blessings of Sehri
Sehri (Suhoor) is the pre-dawn meal consumed before fasting. It is a blessed meal that distinguishes Muslim fasting from others. The Prophet (PBUH) encouraged taking Suhoor to gain physical strength for the day's worship.
Joy of Iftar
Iftar is the time of breaking the fast at sunset. It is a moment of great joy and gratitude. The Prophet (PBUH) advised hastening to break the fast with dates or water. It is a time when prayers are accepted.
